Like in title, old, pre-war firefighters' engine. Not any exact model, just a "generic" one, loosely based on multiple photos I've looked at. Scale is too big for minifigs and too small for technic figs, so the model is unmanned for now.

That yelllow thing behind the seats is a bell. It was used before sirens were invented.

The fire engine can connect up to 5 hoses at a time, but one should be left for taking the water while in action. Tank is not big because engine is weak, and the car can't be too heavy.

I could use non-lego parts to make better hoses, but I like not to do this unless really necessary. So, hoses are original :)

Yes, I saw a fire engine with bright yellow seat somewhere. Why not at all? :)

I am not sure about that crank... but it was hard to make better.

   Three rear hose outlets...

A word about durability: Model can be considered as medium-resistant, 2-levelled, with only internal strenghtened. It means that in collision details will detach but internal structure will remain undamaged.

I just HAD to review this. I love it. It's very retro. The body is great and very inspiring. Does the steering wheel connect to the front wheels?

Vere nice fire engine. I build more modern vehicles myself, but I like older ones as well. You've managed to capture the right look and I love the details such as the bell. Ralph
