This is my custom merchant sloop, sailing under the British Red Ensign, typically flown by merchants from about 1707 to 1801. After that, the Union Jack in the corner was changed to be the one we see today. I bought this ship years and years ago, and it has been subsequently destroyed and rebuilt numerous times in various forms. This time, it is a British merchant sloop for the Fool's Gold to attack. I can't think of a name for it though. Any suggestions?
A view of the starboard side.
The starboard swiveling gun. These were small cannons that could swivel to allow for a greater arc of fire.
The stern.
The poop deck, and the captain at the helm.
The kegs and barrels the merchant vessel is transporting.
