Battle at Sea!!
The Annual Spanish Treasure Fleet from the Americas is laden with precious cargo including massive amounts of Gold. The Dutch fleet led by the Amsterdam breaks the Spanish convoy and the two flagships the Dutch Amsterdam and the Spanish Sierra Madre are locked in fierce battle. A privateer escort also joins the battle.
About this creation

We'll start with some overview shots to show the scale of the battle. The Sierra Madre is on the left, the Amsterdam in the Center, and the Bounty is on the right.

As you can see the Bounty is overmatched and has been shattered by a series of Dutch broadsides, losing all of its masts.

In this Snapshot you can see the powerfull Amsterdam firing a deadly broadside. The Bounty is fighting for its life at this point.

Boom! Boom! Boom! One of the crew member's heads is blown up.

The Dutch now are sending a boarding party to take the ill-fated Bounty as a Prize of War. They don't look very lucky though because one of the Pirates is carrying a couple sticks of dynamite. This photo is a nice view of the Amsterdam (my pride and joy). Hopefully you can see all the details of the stern.

Now here is the Sierra Madre, Flagship of the treasure fleet. Large, Powerfull, and Ungainly; She is a bit more evenly matched up with the Amsterdam and sends her own boarding party as well to try to take the Dutch Flagship.

Both of the Flagships fire many broadsides to try to take out eachother: the Dutch aiming to destroy the gun decks of the ship with the Weather-Gage and the Spanish aiming for the rigging hoping to board the ship. This is a lovely view of the Galleon's bow and the Dutch Man O' War's stern

In this bird's eye view you can see the boarding parties from both ships and part of their decks.

A nice profile shot of the Galleon. I love all the colors and wood-work with this one.

Nice view of the Spanish Figurehead.

Now a pic of the awesome new and improved Galleon stern. Note: the Lion Flag of the Spanish. Uh-Oh! Looks like the Spanish officer is in for a bit of a surprise.

View of the front of the Amsterdam with her elaborate Figurehead and some nice broadside action

More broadside action between the Bounty and the Amsterdam. The first mate is trying to get away in the life boat. Note the pirate paddling away in a barrel. :)

A closer shot of the carnage aboard the Bounty. Note: pirate with a stick of dynamite and another pirate whose head just got desintegrated.

The Spanish Admiral looking over the battle ponders his next move against the Dutch.

Here's an overview of the Spanish poop deck and rigging.

The Pirate captain steers his stricken ship trying to somehow escape his ships doom.

Some cool photos of the Amsterdams stern.

The Dutch Admiral and Captain on the poop deck.

Some views of the rigging and activity amidships.
