Moon Rod
The MR-01 Moon Rod road-optional vehicle by J0N0TR0N1C SYSTEMS :/ Sweet Rides for an Uncertain Future.
About this creation
A stylish buggy for surface-roaming activities (fun or otherwise), the road-optional Moon Rod can go at least as fast as you can handle in a variety of gravities and atmospheres.
If only there were room for two...

Notable Features:
Independent multi-beam horizontal- and vertical-sweep head lamps
Interchangeable windscreen/canopy
Dual independent controlled hot-fusion power cells
Climate control nozzles and vent in cabin
Adjustable-angle spoiler
Adjustable-angle steering

Measurements:
18 studs long
10 studs wide
6.0 bricks tall

This alternate windscreen is easily interchangeable with the air-tight one. Had trouble deciding which version to present as "main," and ultimately decided to go back to the old-school roots which are the foundation of J0N0TR0N1C SYSTEMS.

Quoting Luke Chapman Hey thanks for the comment (Even if trying to decipher it was a bit too much work for my tiny little brain!) Awesome moon-buggy hot rod hybrid. Also love the picture of your MOCs all collected together in one place on your homepage, cool idea, but something I could never do as usually my models get cannibalised almost straight away.
r wlcm. but seriously, yeah the group shot is hard to keep updated, and i am running out of display space. I could save money by cannibalizing, but it is hard for some reason, even with these digital "back-ups" c u around!

Quoting Crimso Giger Funny to look at, I love the color-scheme and the concept ! The two versions are cool, but obviously I slightly prefer the "old-school" one :-)

Quoting Parrington Levens Oh yes, what a beasty looking Black-Tron rover, looks like a dune slayer!
Not quite Blacktron, actually. That would have yellow accents and no gray. If given a blue windscreen, this color scheme would be consistent with what I used to call my Moon Riders theme before I reorganized my page by vehicle class. I played with other canopy colors, but none seemed to really work as well as the old yellow. Thanks for the kind comment!

Old parts! I love lod part MOCs. Awesome little buggy, the huge rear wheels and spoilers look awesome. I could see a pack of these shredding across a bleak moonscape. Yellow windshield definitely looks the best.

I want one! I want one! And I wanna race it when they organize an Association! I'm gonna have mine painted Kelly Green with white pinstriping! And use No. 47, (the year of my "birth") This is a great little buggy, and a very good Moc.
