Forerunner
CLI's finest: the Forerunner, 1st to implement the LLB
About this creation

This is one of CLI's best walker designs, implementing a very sturdy 5-joint leg design, instead of the previous 4-joint standard. This allows greater flexability (hence, highly poseable).

The Forerunner is much more compact than previous walkers designed by the CLI, and offers much greater armor coverage over critical sectors on it's hull.

The Forerunner is the first CLI walker to harness the power of Laser Light Beams (LLB's, also known as "Pounders"). The general concept for the LLB is the ability to harness a beam of light as a travel path for a destructive force of energy. The LLB's are mounted on maximum-flexability arm hinges (utilizing LEGO® Technic technology, another stepping stone in the CLI's designing strength.)

Though the Forerunner was designed more for agility and speed, it poses a strong weapons threat with it's dual LLB's and hull-mounted 120mm Anti-Mech smooth-bore cannons, seen in black to the very left and right of the cockpit.

Another highlight is the jet system mounted on the back of the Forerunner. Though small, it works in unison with the jets installed on the bottom of the Forerunner's feet, providing more of a directional system for the Forerunner's ariel capabilities.

Quoting Ryan Tennant this is amazing! although i would suggest giving your pictures a white back ground to give the emphesis on the mecha instead of the back ground, this is a great mech! very very good! but i think it would benefit from a white back ground, 5/5 nevertheless!
Thanks, Ryan! I've only recently joined MOCpages, and any of the Lego creations I'm likely to put up in the near future are all a couple of years old—which is back before I thought much about their backgrounds at all. Thanks for the comment—I'm currently working on my largest mecha yet, and I hope to give it a spiffy photo shoot with a good backdrop of some sort (I'm not certain what yet...) Until then, I'm going to try posting more of my old creations (which lack good backgrounds as well, but oh well...) Thanks, again!
