Decepticon Obelisk
This is Decepticon Obelisk. He is a decepticon who transforms into a caterpillar pile driver. This is just one of the many transformers that didn't make it into the movies. This is just the start of these concept transformers so stay tuned :)
About this creation

Here is the concept drawing i built this from. As you can probably see, there is two names on this drawing. Obelisk and Artillery. Artillery sound like a very stereotypical Decepticon name, so i went with the cooler and more unique name, Obelisk instead. I also made some changes to his legs. The legs on the drawing look kinda dumb, so i came up with my own design.

Here is his head. i don't think the head turned out the way it could have, but i guess this will have to do.

And here is his arm.

And his back.

And his leg. You also get a better view of the back of his arm.

And finally the top. Here you can see the huge cannons on his back.

Best one yet in my opinion! Will you be doing any transformers for Dark of the Moon?

No, no, no artillery is not a name it has something to do with an army: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artillery Also the human says:"LOL WUT". This is fan-art dude.

Not trying to bring you down but this so called "concept" was never even considered for TF 1 or 2. Also, he was designed never to have legs. Those things you see in-back are acctually part OF his back. He has huge arms for walking on lol. Note why the huge cannons are on his back. Anyways, great job on this, its and older creation but I had to stop by and correct that. Sooooo....anyways....not sure if anyone else said the same thing yet :P kinda lazy with the scrolly-thinggy :P anyways, keep it up! 4/5

the name is simply obelisk, but artillery as it shows in the concept art probably means that obelisk is part of the artillery class for the decepts. anyways, great job, it takes skill to recreate something in 3d just from one 2d drawing.

Quoting Louis K. This is fantastic! I love the usage of pistons and the whole detailing and greebling at all. The face and chains on his back are also amazing, the entire transformer is extremely accurate. He looks a bit like Devastator :) Overall great build and excellent work, the legs are definitely better now. I can't wait for more! BTW where do you have all these concept arts from?
I found lots of concept drawings, including this one on google. You just have to search for Transformers concept drawings :)
