Hybrid Trilogy Project: Naboo X-1 Starfighter. Design combining elements of the N-1 Starfighter of the Prequel Trilogy and the Incom X-Wing Starfighter of the Original Trilogy. Features a split S-foil design, roomy cockpit, droid socket, 4 laser cannons and two ion blasters.
About this creation
Hybrid Trilogy Project: Naboo X-1 Starfighter.
This ship combines elements of the Naboo N-1 Starfighter with those of the Incom T-65 X-Wing Starfighter.

With the Clone Wars bringing the Republic into turmoil, Naboo techs have created new fighter designs. One of their greater successes is this heavily armored many-lasered fighter.

The working landing gear was fun to create, as was trying to make the fighter look armored yet sleek. Note that there is enough space in the roomy cockpit for the pilot to stand, as well as room for more controls should additional offensive or defensive elements get added in future designs.

See the MOCPages gallery for the first Hybrid Trilogy Project ship, the Jedi Starfighter/Z-95 Headhunter design, here.

I dont believe ive seen this when, I guess it was MOTD twice, but thats a cool idea great ship, and when done like this it makes it look like a x-wing flying backwards, but this is really cool, like what the two ships would have looked like togetether.

Its a great creation, and very well done, but its a bit not fair that it got moc of the day 2 times in a month, especially the shortest month of the year... T_T

Yeah its cool, definitely, but I did notice it just got MOC of the day not too long ago. Funny selecting system... is it random or done via human input?

Congrats on MOC of the day! This is pretty cool. That is a roomy cockpit. I do think it could be a bit more sleek, and the end needs to be longer, with a slightly less steep taper. Nice job, though.

Nice job! Looks like something the Rebels would use though. The Naboo were too "royal". I think you should change it to "Rebel X-1 Starfighter".

I must say that I'm truly amazed at your work, and not just this fighter. I've always loved the Naboo and it's flying craft, and you've added a new twist, and inspired me to come up with some on my own. Great work!
