About this creation
Top View. Here you can see the twin cannon, both dual-phase beam emitters which can blast right through the hull of an enemy ship in a little less than 3 seconds.

Here is the Under View, showing the two tactical nuke missles, which have a range of 100,000 kilometers (They wouldn't tell me the rate of speed; I'm only a civilian!). They're rigged to home in on concentrations of metal and/or thermal radiation. (Once they've locked in on you, you won't get away.)

This is the Rim Worlders hardest close fighting machine. It may look ungainly but it can get up and go when needed. Powered by a phased pulse engine (of the same technology application that powers their beam emitters,) the fighter can reach speeds of up to 5,000 KPH. It is designed for use in softening up enemy defenses so that "regular" and assault vessels fighters can move in for the kill. (Note: I was not aware of this ship until we received the images this afternoon. I was also unaware that the strength of the military was greatly understated during my initial contacts, and that their fleet is about three times as large as originally reported. Why they admit it now, I have no idea.) Perhaps they weren't yet sure of humans. I will be sending more data as I receive it.

Quoting Jake H. I'm not sure about all the colors on this one.
They're fleet and squadron designations, which fit in well with G.A.I.A.s color scheme. Red indicates that the fighter is part of the Expeditionary Task Force being assembled for participation in G.A.I.A.; blue indicates that the pilot is a member of the Ferohurla Squadron. (Curiously enough, that translates into English as Screaming Metal, which was the original French title of Heavy Metal magazine. Metal Hurlant))

Quoting Mister Bones Wow, that thing looks like it can bring the pain!
That's what the liaison tells me. She also said they choose the most aggressive, risk taking pilots they can find for these beasts. Warriors without mates, family, those sort. I wanted ask what the loss rate was, but I chickened out.

Quoting Parrington Levens Hehe, can't wait to see your stuff mate. Man what a mean land-lord, bummer dude. Take it easy regardless...
Yeah, the new place has a nice big area, about three by 9 feet right inside and to the left of the door where I can set up my Lego display.

Quoting Parrington Levens It has a nice shape when viewed over-head. The Rim-worlds are advanced it seems, but are they advcanced enough for the inter-galactic war they suddenly find themselves in? Lol, I like the idea of your Rim World stuff not claiming to be too amazing, a nice touch of reality and the underdog spirit - if that's what you are going for? I hate to be pedantic, but I can't wait till you start using real pieces...
They're coming, I assure you. I was planning on starting during the next week, but Fri. morning I was hit with a letter from the new landlord (which greatly surprised me, since I hadn't been informed I had one) that the building was being converted into offices, so could all of us tenants just please leave! He didn't actually say "please!" Anyway, I've already located a new place (much nicer!) and I'm presently boxing up everything. To get to the point, it'll be February before I can started building anything, which really bums me out! I'm getting my final residual around Tuesday and I was just gonna go hog wild with it. Couple death stars, space police. castles, etc. I got some great advice, though, from everyone and I'm going through Bricklink for most of the parts. Still gonna go out locally and get at least one massive kit, to get started with. But, th fleet is coming, I promise.
