Awesome! The only thing missing is a towel. Although never mentioned in the book, I'm sure the dolphins recognized the importance of having one. |

The dolphin is really natural-looking and organic, and the HGTTG references work well here. Although you got one thing wrong... the mice were smarter, and also mammals. |

Ha! I´m reading the Hitchhiker again for the x time and look who did a stunning MOC about it. The dynamic is awesome; it´s like a snapshot and that makes it so real. |

Dolphins are the SECOND smartest species, humans are the THIRD. still, what an excellent movie, and it was doing a backflip. |

Wow, great work! One of the best MOCs I've seen so far in terms of efficiency. In other words, you get the point across extremely well with remarkably few elements, which, in my opinion, makes the whole thing seem much more elegant than larger creations. Just remember, DON'T PANIC. |

Thank you very much for the kind words Dave! I definitely will bring it out to BW, and look forward to meeting you both. Well, it will be a first for meeting everyone actually! LOL we're looking forward to mixing it up with the community's elite!!

Wow....thank you all for the very kind comments! I'm glad that you enjoy this MOC as much as I do. The dolphin is a whole assembly and can be removed from the base.....no missing tail. I wanted to do something epic for the contest, but wanted to stay within my brick inventory too so had to compromise a bit. Best compromise ever!
And the answer is ALWAYS 42. |

Having just experienced a dolphin encounter a few weeks ago, I declare that this is a very accurate depiction of how Bill (all dolphins are named Bill, btw) comes out of the water. You really capture the action here -- the surprise of him coming out of the water so gracefully is perfection. Great work! |
