"Khael" Mobile Construction Yard
'Khael Drive' was comissioned by the Bureau of Expansion to build a mobile construction yard capable of building medium sized frigates. The bureau insisted on mobility and autonomy of the ship as well as the ability to withstand extreme environments. This industry platform is well armored, features a pair of scout interceptors and a heavy maintenance unit. It can store a few containers in its armored cargo.
About this creation

Here is the obligatory kitty shot ;) along with the 2 interceptors the maintenance unit and the 'Viking' Science frigate that just popped out of the manufacturing bay.

This ship is my first try at using lego pneumatics. A lego compressor fills up the air tank before the ship leaves base. The ship then has a limited supply of energy to open its cargo bay and giant industry bay. both can open and close a few times before the air is depleted. It was a very fun and challenging build.

Here's the link to it in action!!!!

Great use of mixed-theme pieces. The other ships really complete the package. Nice work.

It's really uncommon, that mix of fine space art and technic functions, and it gives an unique MOC ! Congrats also on the use of the big green parts, looks great. Impressive MOC !

That is too cool! Digging the colors and technic aspect. Oh, thanks for the nice comment on my Star Wars vig. We had a French exchange student stay with us for awhile a couple of summers ago. He had dual citizenship with the UK so that was neat. Anyway, you got some cool stuff built, nice work, peace.

Thank you all for your comments. To all that noticed SOAD in the background of the video, I hadn't :p Areetsa i know the green bucket thingies have been done before and i was trying to look for it but i couldnt find who had done it. Let me know if you know where to find it. It inspired me to build this.

I know it's been done before, but the dump truck buckets look perfect on this. Quite like the motorisation, though I think it'd be better if the top thing locked about halfway around.
