DAIM-18 "Scorpion"
About a 3 hour build to make this little mech. (A lot of that time was searching through my poorly organised lego.) Before I started, all I knew was I wanted to use that top bionicle piece. I thought I had two(shoulder pads) but I only had the one. I think this turned out quite well. Also I would consider almost all of my creations organic, with a few exceptions, so I won't bother saying from now on.
About this creation
The Desert Anti-Infantry Mech mark eighteen, was envisioned as a quick strike mech, designed to eliminate enemy infantry squads. It earned it nickname of "Scorpion" due to its quick and deadly attacks.

I am actually very happy with how this turned out for three good reasons:
1:) There is enough headroom for the driver to wear his helmet.
2:) You can see the drivers face through the gap between the front panel and the top peice.
3:) I actually managed to pull this off.

That is one sweet mech! I like the way you protected the driver, well done! Keep it up!

Brilliant use of the Bionicle piece and well chosen colour scheme. Those nicely detailed legs look very believable! Very creative walker!
