this is one of the newest of the COPs fighters to hit the line, if you see a cloud of histors heading forr your colony best tell yer fellers to fall back sharpish!
About this creation
whoah i'm back, so much for that 1 moc a week idea, well if you keep up with my flickr posts you'll see my WIPs, to be posted and other interesting things from my mind.
this lovely little ship is my entry for the 3rd fleet moc-off against ultramarine skiver
well sorry for the poor picture quality but when i get home to take pictures i have about half an hour of minor sunlight before it gets too dark that the lighting makes the entire thing, not sure how that excuses my picture quality but i was in a hurry.
a shot from next to the farthest engine, you can see one of the rear most rings and the back of the cockpit
here is hopefully one of the better shots i redid
much clearer shot of the engine, i'm proud of that shot seein as its one of my favourite parts
the front of the engine uses the design from the space police fighter-like shit, its an awesome technique
across the wing
now most people talk very technically about their ships, not me thoguh, i'm a simple cactus and that technical doo dar confuses me
rear wing and side of the engine
very fun thing to build, i reccomend trying an engine like this
noes more blur! bif you can't work it out then this is the main part behind the window
this is me holding the thing on its tail so the gun and missiles can be seen
well i hope you like this fighter, look to my flickr post frequently because better pictures of this thing are likely to surface pretty soonish

Incredibly shiny looking. Hey, that reminds me of the Naboo Starfighters from SW Ep.1. Anyhoo, great build. I need to be more active. Oh, and I'm hopefully posting something at some point. |

This was definitely the closest of the competitions in this round. I feel like you guys were running neck and neck with design, parts usage, and color work. Your poorer presentation was actually the deciding factor for me, as your opponent definitely had cleaner pics of the work (and that has an effect on how people perceive your creations). So very nice work, but juuuuust shy of the win.
well i can't say i'm disheartened at the loss but i''m glad it was so close |
