"The last seal of the little baggies that holds the pieces was broken, and i looked upon them, these four who would usher the age of darkness, and lo did i sayeth to myself, self i says, these guys are pretty darned cute, for being the bringers of apocalypse..."
Death- i thought the old standard "hood and sickle" version was a bit tired, i've seen other people's versions (basically a darth maul with skeleton face) and even a few pretty innovative sickle designs
I really like the simplicity of this figure- i envision Death riding bareback and being more of a "warrior" (hence the polearm instead of the sickle), but not needing any armor or a helm- after all, he IS death, whaddaya gonna do? Kill him?
I dunno exactly why i chose the breastplate, helm, and cape except that they matched and just seemed "right." I pictured Famine as being this arrogant, greedy, ruthless bastard- fat and gluttonous even as he makes the world starve and shrivel
Here you can see his weapons (of mass destruction, of course)- the jar of pestilence from which he breathes (or perhaps he is made of pestilence and the tube flows FROM him...), with a release valve for unleashing it on the world- and a mysterious staff that's just plain scary looking
Nice job you've done here. I like you're descriptions, very well done. Revelations is the best chapter in my opinion, but isn't the ending the best part to any book? I might have a crack at creating The Horsemen of the Apocalypse too, after I get my new Castle sets. Great job.
