My version of a Battle during the Clone Wars on the planet of Bakura. This is my 40x32 entry for the 2010 Winter Star Wars Tournament Round 2.
About this creation
The Battle of Bakura took place on the planet Bakura around seven standard weeks after the outbreak of the Clone Wars. Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker defended Bakura from Separatist forces led by General Grievous.
Wookiepedia.
Bakura.
The Battle was a Republic victory but General Grievous managed to escape. Kenobi and the Clones pursued Grievous to one of the planets many rivers whilst Skywalker and his Padawan secured the Capital city.
Commanders Cody and Rex were cornered by Droids and had to fight for their lives.
Grievous retreated to the rivers where he knew a squad of Droids was waiting. He ran along a bridge the locals built and called in a Vulture Droid to pick him up.
Kenobi was right behind the General when he called in the Vulture droid and tries in vain to knock Grievous off.
The Clones are no match for the Separatist’s Super Battle droids.
This Clone may get past the droids though.
Rex utilised a jetpack in the Battle.
Cody also used a jetpack.
The oncoming droids.
A clone destroys a Super Battledroid with a droid popper.
Some pictures of the landscape.
I give credit to Commander Hess for the design of Rex. He also made the pauldron.
I also give credit for Grievous' leg design goes to Greth on Flickr.

Size: 40x32
Score: Philip and I scored 94/100 in total. (Pass)

Slash the Vulture Droid? Oh well! I like the plant details, your custom Rex, as well as the bridge/ledge structure. I still think you should build your own Grievous. Oh well! The MOC still looks great! |

Great but the battle of Bakura does not have Obi-Wan, Rex, or Cody. It was when Sora Bulq and Quinlan Vos go to fight Dooku.
Thanks, that was the Mission to Bakura, this is the Battle. Follow the link on this page to found out about the battle. |

Oh yes there is forests too- but Bakura is seen in both jedi academy and Rebel strike and it looks so barren- in rebel strike is strange bluish desert- but maybe it is not the Bakura itself but some other planet in its system- and in jedi academy there is facility inside volcano so that't the reason why i couldn't see this as Bakura.... sorry
Thanks Swash, where did you find that stuff out? (a book?) All I could find out about Bakura was on Wookiepedia.

Yay really nice, I was really worrid that you couldnt make it, not because I dont trus you or that you are a bad builder, no, I was concerned about the aseplates, you told me in a clone wasr moc that you dont have so many plates, and that had worried me, but this, wow, this is awesome, fully packed with rare detail, really well done.
Thanks so much Philip, that means a lot to me. The what plates?
