This is the HMS Praetorian. She's a 32 gun escort frigate or fifth rate ship of the line.

Very nice. One of the best sailing vessels MOCPages, and probably the best Frigate. I hope you don't mind, but I used this vessel as a primary inspiration for my Lego frigate, the Defiant. |

Very good job
I like the sleek form and the details,
but it would be better if there was more sails. |

This is a very smooth and well proportioned looking ship. How did you get all the cannons? |

Wow..Nice Job on this! It looks exactly like the HMS Suprise. It would be cool if you added more sails. But other then that it looks Great! :) Marshal Red |

Thanks for the comments Kyle. As for the mast spacing I refer you to this plan view for the HMS Surprise, a very similar ship.

Note the wider gap between the mainmast and foremast. This was one of my inspirations for this ship and found it quite useful in judging gun spacing and masts and so forth. I will add sails and rigging once I finalize the design.
Nice lightcycles btw :) |

I have a weakness for tall ships, but this is thoroughly excellent :-). The bow is particularly inspired - I've been trying to come up with a way to break free of the pre-made hull pieces and you seem to have done just fine without them. This would look great in full sail with some basic rigging thrown in - do you have any paper and kite string laying around? I do have to say, tho - it looks a tad long in between the fore and middle masts, but I am not an expert. Still, a great legoing niche well filled. |
