Delta-7 Jedi Interceptor (Saesee Tiin mods)
This is incredibly fragile... and has no play features or anything special like that, it's more of a display model, so don't touch!
About this creation
Artistically blurred front shot, any resemblance to anything is purely coincidence.

The cockpit, which actually fits a minifig, even a rodian!

Proves that a normal minifig can fit, not just a rodian.

Close up of the quad guns, they are too much in my opinion, but that's not my fault.

Back view I see some resemblance to the Eta-2 here, I had absolutely no reference pics for this part, but the engines on this are supposed to be stronger than the standard Delta-7, so I just doubled the engine count. (Any larger engine design looked blocky and out of place with the fighter.)

Top view, this has a more agresive silhouette than the standard Delta-7, but it looks a bit more... earthly.

Side view, nothing special...

Did you know...
-that this is my entry to the 2010 Star Wars tournament Round 2?
-that this fighter really exists ?
-that I wanted to make something diferent since everyone was doing dios and vigs?
-that that was my only reference pic, so I had to make up a couple of parts of the fighter?
-that this is almost the 10th time I've built a Delta-7? (counting unposted versions)
-that this is more to scale than LEGO's version?
-that this was hit by a soccer ball?

I have the actual model of this in non lego. It needs to be a tad longer, but a good moc regardless.

Quoting andros tempest It's not a bad interpretation, the original has more guns and a sharper nose, but other than that it's dead on.
For the sharper nose that's kind of hard to do, since no slope plates really end that way, and I simply had no space to add the other 2 guns to each wing.

Loltaun it got hit by a soccer ball? Well I love this fighter! Though, I agree that the quad guns are too much.

Nice job, I like how the overall look is retained yet it's still unique. The guns are cool, and I like the little display stand.

Quoting Louis K. Nice! Very simple, yet cool. My favorite parts are the quad guns! I just can't figure out why it's fragile...Anyway, finally you posted a `did you know´ again! Hit by a football, I know this...I pushed my ( not yet posted) venator I worked the entire day on off the table, it was very fragile too :§ Well, all in all very good job!
It´s fragile because the front part of the ship is held on by two studs, and the wings are a pain to position, and if the fighter falls off it´s stand thingy the wings pop off, but luckily it survived being hit by a soccer ball since Koriban took most of the blow.

This is impressive Juan, very impressive! I like all little detail you added to it. I would have done somethins like this for the tournament but I thought we had to do a diorama.

Quoting MOODSWIM :) This is awesome! I like that you tried a different ship than most builders. I'm loving that it bridges the gap between ep 2 and ep 3 Jedi Starfighters.
Yes, it has most of the stuff I like the most from both designs: wing flap things, and dagger shape=D
Quoting Commander Hess /Touch :P Looks awesome, Cam! I guess round two was anything in the Star Wars EU. Oh well, I still have a Dio I'm making.
/falls off stand /"nose" falls off /wings snap off

Ok now it is right- i think-....yes it is- i checked it again- Star Wars names are pretty hard- one guy on Eurobricks complained when i made a mistake and wrote "Barris Offee" instead of Barriss....how many times i have spelled it wrong i dunno- but i can write "General Grievous" and "Anakin Skywalker" right- those seems to be hard to many...

Quoting swash buckler Very good- don't look much fragile- but where is this model from? I don't remember seeing it before- anyway it is nice but i think you mean "Saesee Tiin" i can be wrong though- and yes could you join http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/9800 if you want to discuss about the new Clone Wars series- is season 2 started in Colombia already?
OK In order: 1.You´d be surprised the wing flap things fall off if you try to pick it up, and the front is two studs from falling off. 2.I think it´s from some promotional comic, I just found it on Wookieepedia. 3.Fixed. 4.No it hasn´t started yet, but I watch them on the internet.
