Brick-Olympics Round 2 - jason corlett vs.Niklas Hoger
(Round-2, Opponent- Niklas Hoger , Category- Steampunk) Alright, round two. Steampunk...i've never done a true steampunk moc before. I got extremely lucky here because i just received a pick a brick order with tons of new brown pieces, perfect for steampunk mocs :) Anywho hope you guys like it!
About this creation

Here is a close up of the operator.

Here is one of it's arms.

side

back

This is a close up of the right side of the back. Mmmmm, greebles :)

And here is a close up of the other side. Mmmmm, more greebles!

Here is a shot of the arms spread out. I took this photo because most mechs that i build have overly heavy arms that the shoulders can't support. I have officially fix that problem!

Here is the steam powered machine gun.

and a quick pose... nothing too special.

This is a shot of it's legs.

And the foot.

And finally a close up of the greebling/detailing on the arm.

SP Mecha? Awesome. Did you actually dimension-shift this Magnificent Monstrosity (it's a good thing) from the Steampunk Time-continuum, or am I merely delusional and in need of mild medication and bedrest? Kick-derierre, mon frere! -Huss Q.

Quoting John Moore I don't even like steampunk, but this got me building again! great Mech with lots of detail. One question, do all the little details and greebles fall off, or is it sturdy?
The greebling is surprisingly strong. The only thing that has a tendency to fall off is the smoke.

Steampunk is the best. I personally don't build any, but wow. I really like this. It has a wild-west meets exosquad meets matrix feel to it. I think what woud have been hilarious, if you built a giant 6 shooter for it, maybe a cowboy hat. Just kidding about the hat. Very well done. Yeehaw!
