Devil's Triangle: First Contact Part 1
Our group of brave souls wake up to a living nightmare after breaching the Bimini Gate.
About this creation

I was slowly coming to. I felt like I was hit in the head with a sledgehammer. My vision was blurry.....playing tricks on me. That was my first thought when I saw the Shark Man in my field of view.

Even though my head was foggy and my vision a bit unclear, my instincts kicked in and I grabbed the trident the shark man held to my throat.

"WHERE IS THE KEY?!" He roared. I was a bit too preoccupied to answer him. My only thought was getting his weapon out of my face.

He pulled back a bit. "Hmmmm, you're strong for a human. I shall enjoy killing you."

Suddenly gunfire broke out along the surf, kicking sand and water in the air.

The Shark Man turned and spotted something in the distance.

It looked like a raft. It was equipped with some heavy fire power. I wasn't sure if it's bark was louder than it's bite, but I surely didn't want to find out.

"Be careful Swiper! We have humans on the beach!"
"I see them Millie!, just keep her steady!"

The two shark men dove under the water. Obviously they didn't want to get test these two.

"Those guys sure are getting braver by the day Swiper. We're going to have to start taking more drastic measures."

The woman steered the raft into the surf and jumped in. I sat up and took a quick head count. Three of our men were missing. We still had one scientist, and the Navy Corpsman. I'm glad that we still had Doc on hand. If he wasn't around, I'd have to go searching for him. Doc is indispensable no matter where you're at. The Air Force and Army guys........well, let's just say with two less mouths to feed I wasn't going to complain.

"Thank you for all of your help Miss..."

"Amelia. Amelia Earhart to be exact. But most of my friends just call me Millie."

Commentary: This is the continuation of the story line for The Devil's Triangle group. Come join the Devil's Triangle TODAY! I thought I'd toss in a bit of fun facts for you guys to ponder.

Amelia's First attempt to fly around the world was March 17th 1937 from Oakland, CA. She was to make the voyage westward bound. She had a hard landing in Hawaii which forced her back to the mainland for repairs. Oakland is also home to our very own Han's favorite team the Oakland Raiders.

Amelia's Second attempt was actually out of Oakland (quietly) eastward towards Florida. She publicly announced her trip from Florida, and took off out of Miami Eastward bound. The direction change was due mainly to yearly wind changes. It was to be the last time anyone saw her alive in the states. Was she meant to make that trip around the world, or was she really meant to go into the Devil's Triangle???

Some nice shots on this one, and I always like a good story. Not good enough to be a good builder anymore, one must be able to tell a story and take better than average pics as well. Lee.

Quoting Mister Bones 5 comments? Come on now, this is deserving of more! Some really great techniques in this. I am being held up now my the brutal and oh so unprovoked attack against me by Leda Katt. Ok, I did provoke it...
Yeah this series doesn't seem to be a favorite among my fans. That's what happens when you go the creative route, and try to break the typecasting. I will now have to do a clone on a plate just to get my self esteem back up.

The only thing holding me up at this point is my own motivation and parts. Won't be until chapter 2 at least that my group might encounter yours, possibly longer.(first post was the prologue) Chapter 1 could take a while; I'm really having a hard time with this submarine and I go overboard with my set building!~H

Quoting Hans Dendauw RAIDER NATION! Sorry, got a little side-tracked there...I am loving the 'steampunk' raft! Been waiting to see your first take with that. Also, the cheese wedges were great usage of parts. Consider it stolened! Hahaha! So, about those character names...~H
Thanks Hans! The names will be revealed in the next post...hopefully this week. If the names are holding you up, let me know and I can drop 'em on you ahead of time.

Cool effect with the cheese for when the sharkguys dive! Yeah, loving the inclusion of Amelia Earhart - This theme is shaping up nicely. Am hoping to get 'round to posting something for it, myself, at some point.
