About this creation
This is my 1991 SAAB 900 Turbo Monte Carlo, hope you like it! The Monte Carlo was a special and limited edition of de 900 convertible, in Monte Carlo yellow and fitted with the black aero panels (deliberately not 100% pooled on the model). I named this model the Monte CarLEGO!
I tuned it a bit to give it better looks, but tried to stay close to the original and use only original accessoires, apart from the multi media system and the iPod on the right side of the dashboard. I also built a softtop.
Other features:
- 16"two tone Aero-rims
- Headlight wipers
- Striping
- Simons sport exhaust
- After market fog lights
- Black leather seats with grey suede
- Three SAAB gauges in dashboard
- Indicator handle and wiper handle in steering rack
- Center arm rest (see two interior photos: folded/unfolded)
- Fire extinguisher
- Third brake light

It has already been parted out... I think I should be able to build a better one. Maybe I'll give it a try.
I also built a 900 Turbo Aero 3-door in red. I exhibited it on a big SAAB meeting and two months later someone offered the exact same model with instructions for money in the SAAB Magazine... :-# |

I know it's been a while since you posted these, but would it be possible for you to post a parts list and build instructions? I know hundreds of Saab fans who would LOVE to build one of these! |

Very good job capturing the sabb's shape. From the second photo I immediately knew it was a saab. I especially love the rear lights which are very well designed. |

Niiiice... You know, I'm a fan of real SAABs and I even own one - 9000CS And currently I'm building one out of LEGOs.About your creation. You very successfuly pointed out all the famous SAAB's details. Trust me, I know them veeeeery well and you nailed them. Superb car, superb model |

That is a great build dude, unmistakably a Saab, and probably the best model of them all. A cool looking car, and the rear lights in particular are spectacular on this MOC. Great build mate! |
