this is my first attempt at a mech /hardsuit whatever you wanna call it. it seems... a bit too... busy to me. to many colors. but i didnt have much to work with. the legs are based loosely off of the war doll by Brian Kescenovitz here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/63296
my mech is designed for speed and excels at close combat. therefore it only has a heavy armor plating to the front of the cockpit. an experienced pilot should be in control of the battlefield, always one step ahead of his enemies. so an enemy should never be in a position to attack the defenseless back of the mech.
another feature of this mech are the magnetized feet. these allow the mech to make sudden stops and directional changes mid boost. some pilots modify them allowing the mech to walk upside down on the ceiling. making for a perfect way to ambush and get in close to a target.
the main weapons are the minigun and the chainsaw. both capable of tearing an enemy to peices. if you can get close enough. it is also regularly fitted with a cannon positioned low on the body to give the most stability when firing. although it must stay still when firing making a perfect target. it has also been seen wielding a prototype energy weaponcapable of pinpoint accuracy at long distances.
That is really cool! I wouldn't say it looks busy, it's detailed. All those little details (specificly in the legs and back) make it look awesome! Keep it up because this is one of the best "first try" mechs I've ever seen!
