Used by the matoran of Metru Nui during the Civil War, these high-tech fighter craft enabled the Matoran to take their battle to the skies.
About this creation
Armed with two pulse cannons, air-riders use Le-Metruís much sought levitation disks (which are fused with reinforced protodermis) to give the vehicle the ability to fly at speeds up to one hundred and ten miles per hour. After the war it was suggested that they be refitted for non-violent purposes. However, due to high production costs, this idea was discarded in favor of protodermis chutes.
These machines were primarily driven by Honor Guards as their armors' jet-pack feature provided a safe bail-out in case of emergencies.
