APM Type 01 Alpha
My first Izzo Style Mech. It has a wide range of additional armaments and equipment for different applications.
About this creation
APM stands for "All Purpose Mecha". Type 01 is for it being the first color scheme I used while building it. Alpha is because this is the first version with only minor modifications and differences in some of the photos. I will more than likely rebuild some major elements of this, and when I do, the new one will be Beta.

I'm really happy with the lower legs. The chest didn't come out as nice as I was hoping it would. The shoulders are overcomplicated compared to the rest of the design. The head just seems odd, although I'm not sure why. We'll see what I can come up with for the beta version.

Rear View (sorry it's blurry):

Optional Shoulder Armor:

New Head Design (still not happy with it...):

Very nice! I love its big "burly" look and that it has all those accessories. A very good first mech :)

Wow! This is amazing for a first mech! I can definately see the Izzo influence. And I agree: the best way to get good at mecha building is to study others.

Quoting Owen Netzer Oh. My. Gosh. This is one of the coolest mechas I have ever seen. I'm not that good at mecha building, so do you think you can spare me some tips...?
I can try, I've been studying these two people's work: Phong Chang: http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/10486 izzo yoshi: http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/3952 They're masters it seems, especially check out Phong Chang's "Ruiz" it's incredible. The biggest tip I can give is study other's work, There's certain techniques to doing things, legs and feet especially that i've noticed almost everyone uses. Figure out how someone else did it, then see what you can do to improve on it/personalize it. Also color palette is important, using colors that compliment each other. Wish I could help more but This is my first one too, I actually applied to Phong Chang's group to become an apprentice and learn from the master.
