Exoskelett-kleinpanzer Ausf-A 'Valkyrie'
Experimenting with fictional Nazi superweapons, this time. I do a lot of that sort of thing. Experimenting, not Nazi wunderwaffen.
About this creation
"Zo, Herr General, you can see zat zer new project is comink along nicely."

'Zat I can see. Vat es it, exactly? Your communications to Berlin aren't very detailed.'

"Vell, as my colleagues in Hamburg are makink zer supersoldiers viff ze drugs, I am makink der supersoldiers viff der science. Evil Nazi science, of course. Nothink less vould be effective enough."

"Fraulien, vould you prepare the suit for zer demonstration?"

"Ja, Herr Doktor."

'I see. Are any of your suits ready for zer front?'

"Oh, ja, ja, of course zey are! Some of zem to zer east, some of zem in zer south!
Still goink through field tests, of course."

'Ja. Of course. Your communications say somethink about zere beink tvo models. Vould you care to elaborate on zis?'

"Gladly, Herr General! Zis von over here ist zer new model, viff ze electric batteries. Ees still not ready for zer factories yet, sadly.

If you don't charge der batteries properly zey explode at zer most inconvenient times."

'Does not sound very useful. And vat of ze other type?'

"Vell, those vuns run on a special concentrated petroleum fuel. Zey do quite vell in zer fighting, though zere ist still a few problems to clear out. Zome in Russland, zome in Afrika. Zadly, zer Feldmarshall haz no idea of how to deploy zem properly. He is usink zem as scouts and patrolvomen, not as sturmtruppen as zey should be.

And ze electric vuns vill be very useful! Zey are nearly silent! As zoon as ze bugs are worked out..."

'I see. And vat of ze frauliens? Vhy not our brave soldaten?'

"Vell, all ze hausfrau can do is sit home and vorry. Zey're very good at that, I'll admit. But tzink of it! Zo many, none of zem strong enough to be useful soldaten! Zo! I make my suits. Like Valkyries, zey are!"

'I see, I see.'

"Ze horses aren't doing too vell, though. I sent to Munich for zome of zer Aurochs, ve'll see how zat goes as zoon as they ship me some."

'Sounds like a vaste of time to me. Keep tryink, though. Images are important.'

'Zo, you call it der Exoskelettkleinpanzer, do you?'

"Ja, ja. Most of us call it der Kleinpanzer, though. Much easier to vrite on zer reports."

'Ahh!'

"You see! Is big, is strong, is only a head and der half higher zan a normal soldaten! It can lift der Kubelvagen viff vun hand, can throw zer hand grenades like rockets, can do zer housevork in no time at all!"

'Verner! Point zat thing somevhere else!'

'...Ja, Herr General.'

"It can use anything! MG34, MG42, Sturmgewehr 44, anytzingk a soldaten can! Can even shoot zer mortar on zer run!"

'Amazink!'

"Zer shoulder pad normally stays put, but vhen needed it can rotate viff zer arm! It can also hold some pretty big gunpods!"

'Vell, zer Fuhrer vas pleased viff your reports before. Vhen he hears mine, he vill be ecstatic! Projekt Panzermann vill revolutionize armed varfare!'

"Zat's good news..."

'As long as you remember vat happens to zer scientists who get him excited and zen fail to have their vork ready for inspection by zer deadline!'

/end horrible German accents.

Inspiration was the Panzerklein from the PC game "Silent Storm", also known as "S2".
I don't actually own it yet, but it was an image of the Panzerklein that drew my attention to it.

Also, I heartily recommend anyone who isn't a mouth breathing Counter-Strike playing troglodyte to buy a copy of it, or at least download the demo. You'll enjoy it.

Also see Commandos, X-COM: Enemy Unknown.

(no offense is intended to mouth breathing troglodytes by their inclusion in a sentence with a reference to Counter Strike. Some of my best friends are mouth breathing troglodytes!)

Why the castle? It's traditional!
Where's the mad scientist? Well, he's wearing overalls.
The white coat is for special occasions, and a general on an inspection tour soon discovers that sticking to a schedule means you only get to see the good bits.

As usual, if you use something you got from this in a moc, do include a link to this page in the 'credits' section of your moc.

If you for some reason feel a need to copy the whole thing and claim it as your own, do remember that the sort of comments I normally dish out are simply me being me.

If I was actively feeling malicious...

Even if you put it up on flickr, I'll find out eventually.

Since you read this far, you're probably already planning to comment.
Otherwise, what've you got to lose? Take the plunge!

You've already lost ten minutes of your life, there's no way you're getting them back but you can always complain. Complaining makes the world go 'round.

I can not figure out the top part of the suit. I did everything in your World War Day three comment, but at least could you tell me which 2 of these are the ones you used (the one that attaches to the head and the one that attaches to the t-joint):(using LDD names, since from some of your pictures, you have it) 1x1 brick w/ 4 knobs, 1x1 brick w/ 2 knobs, brick 1x1 w/ 1 knob, angular brick 1x1 or technic brick 1x1. Please respond.

Go for it. I'm always happy to help someone else improve, however little assistance I may be able to provide.

Um, Areetsa why did you remove me from UNE? I will promise to stop talking if you re-invite me. Look, it's just because me and Zylo have a long and complicated history, hacking groups, causing drama, stuff like that.

Because at heart I'm a fundamentally lazy person and the easiest way to stop an argument and mud slinging contest is to gag the participants. I'll probably get around to letting you back in eventually. Just as soon as I finish burning the evidence.
