I originally built this for the FBTB build-a-droid contest (along with my probe droid) but did not get it photographed in time. I think it turned out okay, though.
About this creation
This is a minifig-scale FX-7 medical droid, as seen in ESB.



Enlarge image 		   Here is a shot of the droid next to a minifig. If a minifig is six feet tall, then the droid is about 6' 6", which seems about right.

I always think of minifigures as 6' when scaling models, even though their heads are completely out of proportion with their bodies. Any way great MOC, lots of detail in a minifigure robot. Lots of arms is good!

Nice, kinda reminds me of the one from the darth vader kit thingy but your one is better i think! good MOC of the day. (to the guy below, 6' is not actually that tall by modern standards. if he was a basketball player, he would more like be 7' !!!)

It seems pretty accurate in detail and scale. But I always thought that a minifig was about 5 '5 or something like that...let's just say that that minifig was a basketball player.
