Well, here's my Steampunk phone box! It's my entry to Flare's steampunk contest.
I didn't want to build the conventional steampowered things like vehicles or tanks and I had this idea for some longer time in my head, now I've built it! I hope you like it!

That could be pretty helpful on a cold winter's day... just insert the money, thaw your hands over the steam, than call a person. Kinda cool! I like all the detailing. Could you please comment on this if you have the time? http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/229638 |

Quite a creative concept you have here, and wonderfully executed.

Hey Juan! I'm not sure if you've already joined the MOC-Athalon. If not please join the group and then our team ( Flare, Master Shifu, Giovanni Saenhaeve and a member of starfox)
http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/10245
One of our members will probably not be able to participate and now we need a TFOL. The Prroblem is the challenge starts on the 13th February in some hours. Please respond! I'm afraid I just don't have the time for a Phipson-scale contest right now, with school and all that. So I'm afraid I won't be able to join the MOCathalon, but I thank you for your kind offer. |

It's a large phone box. Didn't realize phone boxes had that many gears. ;-) It's a great build. I like the smoke. And Hagrid looks a little evil. Nice.
Thanks! Well, I think the reason for the size and all the gears is Steampunk! :) |

I was talking about the rubber bands...
I see...but except for the brown one, all rubberbands are official lego rubberbands ( I got them from several old bionicle sets) :) |

Non-LEGO elements aside, this is excellent! Love the "Mr Hyde" guy, itsets the MOC in the right context: fictional Victorian age. Well done :) |

All right, well done. I might think this is coincidence, but I was just building a 5 cylinder in line motor, it's something else than the regular cylinders most of the people use making a V8, i'm building it a different way, the only thing I used from the original cylinder parts are the mid axle. Even that is built up in a different way.
I'm going to try to make my five cilinder in line engine more compact and if it works out great, I'm going to place it in a next project: Toyota Prius.
Thanks, sounds cool! |
