Well, a week ago I was scrolling through the PaB store looking for some parts I need. Then I discovered a new Lego piece, I had never seen before there. I couldn't really figure out was it was, so I just ordered it. <br>
Joyful I unpacked my new, awaited Lego and I remembered the strange piece. Well, here's a description of this lego piece, and yes it is really Lego, I really got it from PaB. So, if you have any clue what this is or what to use it for, please tell me!!
About this creation
You will get little package (such as you can see it on the right) with two of these strange pieces. You can only order 2 at once. A little proof, that I really got it from PaB and it is really Lego: The name is Prepack with 2 Asle, the element number is 4492718 and the package costs 2,37€. You can look for it here. The strange thing about this is, it's not plastic like Lego usually is, it made of metal, real metal! Here you see a size comparison. It's slightly longer than a conventional lightsaber blade (you see left next to the new piece). It measures exactly 4 cm (1,56 inch/0,13 feet). The piece is to thin to fit into a hand, it's even thinner than the connection between hand and arm.
So I have absolutely no clue what Lego piece this is and what to use it for.
If you have an idea, please tell me, comment or whatever.
I don't know about the train axle, but I do have an old set of wheels with a metal axle instead of the pegs. The metal axle ran all the way thru the plate, so maybe this is a rplacement for that. At least, that's where I've seen it. ^Blub^
I've never, ever, seen that piece before, but after searching it on bricklink, I determined that the others are correct in stating that this piece is a train axle for the RC trains. Look here: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=x1687
