Hi guys! After a long time of lack of ideas, I´ve been working again on the Titan. After hours of buggin my neighbours with extremly loud listening to Green Day, I´ve found a design that satisfies me. The wing ends are only in the main picture in the wrong position, for easier building. The wings are also still hollow, but the shape is in the final state. By now it has about 1000 parts *sigh*. This is going to be expensive - again, but I think it is worth the money. What do you think?

Quoting Olli K Awesome design you're working on! This will definitely be worth building. Given that you have enough free space at home? Beim Planen und Bauen hat Musik zu laufen, sehr richtig! Bei mir geht allerdings alles auf Millimeterpapier...
Thanks, fortunatelly I have enough free space at home. It wouldn´t be much fun to hide that nice baby and its comrades in the attic, or somwhere else! Ich selbst baue so, dass der Gesamteindruck stimmt. Da kann dann mal eine Rundung etwas flacher ausfallen, solange es ins Bild passt.

Quoting affliction . What do I think? I think that, if you don't want to spend the money, send me the ldraw file and I'll spend the money, because this is really turning out great. Have you been making sure you can get all those parts in tan as you're designing? I think the wings could be curved a bit more. The only thing that bugs me a bit, though, is the lack of a taper on the wing-tip fins.
Hehe, thanks, but no way. As long as I haven´t built it myself, no one will get the ldraw file! Maybe later. As far as I know, all the tan parts should be available. I know that the curve could be a bit more distinctive, but I´m much too lazy to change that and I sacrificed the taper on the wing-tip fins for the smaller light grey sections. Anyway, constructive criticism is always much apreciated! Thanks again.

Very good looking! These are my primary enemies right now. I also prefer the Eagle, but I'm still trying to get some more Nomad guns, I only have two, and I want some of the faster firing version.

Quoting Farhan Salman Now this is one AWESOME ship. Nice design on the head.
Thanks mate, even though my preferred ship in Freelancer is the "Sabre", this one is maybe going to be the best part of my collection so far! It´s good to hear (or better read ;-)) that you like the head. Designing this part of the ship was a pain. I had to make sure that it wasn´t getting too big, but at the same time sturdy enough to not fall apart and have the right shape!! But, it seems that I´ve done my thing right!

Quoting Parrington Levens Hehe, this one has been eating away at you for a while I think. This one is getting there, as you said the wings aren't in the right config, but I'm sure your going to get that right on the real build. Well, it will look great when you get it right, which I'm sure you will no doubt. Yeah, I'd love to see it.
Thanks Parrington! The wings are only in the first picture in the wrong position. I´ve added the following four (with correct positioning) later. Dunno why I didn´t do this earlier, I guess I was (as often) simlpy too lazy! Yes, I know, when seen from the front, the curve of the wings could be a little bit more distinct, but I wanted it to be as smooth as possible and this is, imo, the best solution! I can´t wait to buy the pieces, build it and actually hold it in my hands!

Echt cool das wip. Naja die Flügeln könntest du noch etwas runder machen aber im großen und ganzen echt gut gelungen.^^
