Team Juvenile delinquents MOC Athalon entry to the "Vignette" category: When the student is ready the Master appears
About this creation
This little vignette is a little Japanese hut is on top of a lone jungle crag. The master Is about to begin to teaching his new student, don't ask me how they get up their either. :)
It is on the required 8x8 base plate, with no protrusions beyond two studs. The vegetation may look like it is, but I moved them to exactly two studs length away from the base.

Score of 2. Ty flourescent light when possible, and remember the more light the better. Also try the macro setting on your camera. I also rated you down because I thought the house was a little underdeveloped and not particularly asian looking.
Thanks Keith, I just ordered some more red slopes from Brick link, so next Asian house will look...um...Asian! And Ill try to get some more light into the next one. |

Nice job here. For tips on taking better pics, you can find TONS of stuff in the MOCpages Advice group. If you're not a member, there's a link to it on my homepage. Don't start a new thread on it though, we've already given the advice on picture taking. It may take a few minutes to find the info, but it's there, I promise. Good luck! ~ Chris. |

A bit more light (either real or photoshopped) and larger pics would have granted you more points. BUT, you managed to put together a nice, complex environment, extending it beyond the requirements without violating the 8X8 rule (because it widens near the top!) and that's an extra point for me, making this a good 3-pointer. |

It is nice, and way to go to take the moc up to the sky. The wrinkly sheet in the background takes away from the moc a bit though, but thanks for making an effort to give it a clean background to highlight your moc better. The photography needs to be a bit better though, and that cost you a point. Two (2) points from me. Lee.
What would be some tips you would suggest for bettering of the pictures?

Hey, hey! Now we're getting somewhere. I agree with Lee; get the iron out and flatten that sheet out. The build is pretty solid here, and I love ninjas, so I award 2 points. (It's cool to see you improving!) |
