About this creation
I built this vignette to honor the luger from Georgia, Nodar Kumaritashvili. He unfortunately could not control his sled as he came to fast around a corner, and smashed into a pole. Please do not take offense to this build, as it was meant with good intentions.

Another angle of the vignette.

The vignette is further rotated to show how the man is held in position.

A picture of him on the sled.

The luge is all about aerodynamics.

The vignette without the figure and sled.

Man 8x8 was way smaller than I originally thought, makes it hard to shove in the details.

Thanks for looking!

RIP. What a terrible event to occur before the winter olympics.

It's a great vignette. It would have been a more fitting "tribute" if you just had him going down the track. Yes, it might be in questionable taste, but it's topical, bold and nicely built. 4 points.

It is a gutsy move - you are definitely not a pansy. Four (4) points for having the stones to build this, and do it well. Lee.

Very nicely built vignette. Although, yeah, it could be easily seen in bad taste, I don't think it was your intention, in any way, to sensationalize the tragic incident.

Nice. It just come out in the internet and you already build it. Awesome.

A bold move. You risked much to represent something that obviously hit you. The setting is accurate and the action is painfully well captured. 3 points from me, well done.
