GDC (say each letter) (Gravity Defiance Component)
Using intensified and specialized EMPs (electromagnetic pulses) to defy the magnetic field of the earth, the GDC is forced away from the surface of the earth, suspending it in air until its power is cut off. While still in development, the GDC was tested on the Anti-Gravity. The Anti-Gravity proved the GDC useful, but its engineers found room for improvement. Since the Anti-Gravity, the affect of the GDC as been made controllable by moving a magnetic focusing disc that is mounted directly above its EMP emitter. Since the GDC is an electronic component, its amount of force can be controlled, making it another way to “fly”. Because the GDC uses magnetism to limit the effect of the pull of the earth, the proper application can also use this to repel metal battle machines and magnetic things of the like. The GDC is being currently tested on vehicles to research its efficiency compared to hovering.
Since the rapid-decay theory of the magnetic field of the earth shows a decreasing magnetic field, and since the electromagnetic polarity of the GDC can be reversed, the GDC is a major breakthrough in magnetic technology. Because of the GDC, when the magnetic field of the earth decreases to the point where it can no longer deflect the cosmic rays of the sun, GDCs can back up the magnetic field, continuing the support of life on Earth. The GDC can also be used on other planets with different or no magnetic fields to stabilize the magnetic field of a certain area of that planet for the theoretical support of life.
