Team "Legion Of Virile Energetic Moccers Unified For Frivolous Ingenious Naughtiness" entry for the category "Clone Wars".
About this creation
Assigned to a stealth mission on the ecumenopolis planet of Humbarine, Clone Platoon 42 (seen by their makers as the answer to everything) managed to get deep into enemy territory quite early in the mission. Within only a few hours of landing in the decontaminating fields, they found a short-cut across the acres of toxic waste: an old exhaust pipe.

But as they started traveling through the large pipe, they learned -- to their dismay -- that this was not old in any sense of the word. In fact it was quite active indeed.

All but two members of the platoon were burnt to a crisp as the hourly storm of fire shot through the tunnel, the survivors barely making it out alive...only to face the toxic rivers of deadly acids once again.

Well, I haven't built Star Wars in a while, but here's my Clone Wars build. I've always liked the frozen action concept, so seeing as I had the opportunity to create something from a computer animated world, I jumped at the chance to put the two together. Hopefully it turned out as well as I had initially anticipated!

Oh, and fifty bonus points to the Star Wars fan who can tell me what "ecumenopolis" means. =)

When I first saw this I was like, "JD? Clone Troopers?" This is shockingly good for your first clone moc though. I like the smoothness, and the fire effects coming out of the vent. I'm just hoping I don't see a sharpied covered clone on a plate from you in the future. LOL! Oh, and could you comment on my AT-AT when you get the time? Thanks. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/188586

Very nice job! The action is captured excellently, something I find very hard to do in LEGO. Keep up the good work and good luck in the competition!

It seems like the clone shouldn't be able to fit through the tunnel with his huge jetpack but other than that excellent!

I love the erupting flame cloud. I would have put a clone without a jet-pack getting blown from the pipe, but this is cool too. "One of the best SWCW creations I've ever seen" kind of cool, actually...

Nice clean build with tried and trued techniques. I can just imagine the expression on the clone's face as he is hanging there. Four (4) points. Lee.

Let the clone troopers burn. Nice build. I like the fireball and the captured action.

Well constructed with a good sense of action. It seems a little empty or something, however. But still it's an excellent built, especially that pipe!

Cool. Put the song Through The Fire And Flames by Dragonforce.

I'm liking the fire, and the jet-pack is pretty sweet too.(You can't really go wrong with a JET-PACK) The DragonForce song WOULD sound AWESOME in the background. :D

Quoting Yuri Fassio The action is PERFECT just like the MOC. However, you fall short on storytelling, and this only makes as a short episode's final, or a commercial/trailer. It barely stands on the edges of the theme with a single toe, but I simply REFUSE to give it a void, so I'll award a 2 out of sheer awesomeness. I spent 25 minutes on this comment and this is the 4th version. I hope the effort is appreciated.
The effort is definitely appreciated. Thank you for your kind words and honest opinion. Though, I don't remember it clicking in my mind that I had to make a full episode...guess I'll have to quit trying to multi-task on the internet. =)

I'm having a tough time deciding how I want to rate this. You have superior pictures. Your build conveys the action you describe perfectly. The build is also of a very high quality. The category does ask for your own Clone Wars episode, BUT sometimes if the action is perfect, one frame can perfectly capture the entire concept. I award 4 points to this creation.

Quoting Brick Freak Ecumenopolis: World covered by an entire cty. IE: coruscant
Congratulations. Fifty bonus points are now in your possession. =)
Quoting Doctor Sushi I'm not sure that jetpack would fit through that tunnel...
Actually I think it does...barely. If not, I'm sure it could fold up or something. Anything is possible in Star Wars. =)

I'm not sure that jetpack would fit through that tunnel, but epic, epic win. I especially like the simplicity (not a ton of stuff everywhere), and the build is phenomenal, I like the detail on the sides of the tunnel.

Way to bring it here in the competition JD! You did a great job with the whole scene; I really like all of the action present.
