A minifig-scale recreation of the infamous vehicle.
About this creation
In the spring of 2009, I interned at an antique car museum. While there, I first learned of the Tucker and how the museum would eventually get, not one, but three Tuckers from David Cammack:
Preston Tucker's car was revolutionary for its time and stylish to boot. Only 51 were ever produced, of which 47 currently survive. They were independently produced, but sadly, they never made it to mass production.
I knew that I had to make my own minifig scale Tucker. The chromed Bricks are from ChromeBricks.com, license plate from Slick Bricks, as well as the BrickArms trans red rockets really help to bring this model to life. It wouldn't even look have as good without those parts.
Since I took these pictures, I have implemented some design changes that you will see in future pictures. For example, I switched out the plates in the rear windshield for 3x4 trans-clear slopes, and I tried to substitute as many trans-clear plates for 1x2 trans-clear bricks as I could.
