Set Alternate category build for REGM D. 2010 Moc Athalon Entry. I used the Power Miners Titanium Command Rig set for this build.
About this creation

Brains, the power miner, was bored one day. He came upon an abandoned rig and decided to rework the thing. His new monstrous creation has the rock monsters running away now. They're not stupid enough to attack the Power Mech.

Back of Power Mech.

Miner's cab for driving the Mech.

Leg and drill detail. Drill arm is great for mining. Other arm has smaller mining jackhammer for getting at small crystals and keeping away rock monsters.

Jet pack air stabilizers for keeping Power Mech on balance.

Detail of crew station.

Quoting Luke, Builder of the Awesome Wow, the creativity you show in your builds is amazing! I never cease to be astounded by the ingenuity of all of your creations! I aspire to be as good of a builder as you!
Thanks for checking them out. This one was not as good as I hoped, but I was limited by the elements in the set. Keep building... :)

I Really Like The Leg Mechanism, Also The Overall Look Is Rough, But I Thought About It, If I Were A Miner, Got Bored, Found Some Leftover Old Rig, Decided To Make A Mech Out Of It, It Would Look Rough, So I'm Kinda Glad That You Didn't Make A Polish Or Sleek Mech, As It Wouldn't Make Sense With Your Story.

Nice photography - always a plus, and in fact, just to reward this behaviour, I award you a bonus point for same. A total of three (3) points to you. Lee (you caught me in a generous mood).

Pretty cool. You definitely met the requirements of the category and the story and presentation are nice. Unfortunately, the design of the mech is a little too sickly looking for my tastes. I award 3 points.

Nice work, I like what you did with the parts available to you. the legs are a great design.

The mech is a bit basic, but it's more than enough as a set alternate. Its style is still very Miners-like. What I really feel is that you could have shown off its poseability more, and the spare parts you used for the small mech bay could have been used for weapons or other playable features. Still, I think this calls for a 3.

Quoting Keith Goldman Score of 2. I give you credit for the outstanding photography and your adherence to the rules. However, I can't really endorse the mech, it is too simplistic.
I agree. It is simple. Incredibly difficult to make it more complex using only the available parts though...
