Some nice elements in this (I couldn't figure out the tauntaun reigns either - nice touch). A bit boxy though, and I will have to agree with Keith that it makes for a nice version 1. Three (3) points. Lee.

Yuri didn't get you to ask this did he? (I was complaining to him about how no one had picked up on the only part of this Mech I'm proud of). It is the Tauntaun reins from the Echo Base set. Expect I'll incoporate it into another (better) Mech, at some point.

Forgot to ask what piece you used for the framing of the canopy?

You know, it looks like it could work underwater. You clearly put some thought into this and the base was a nice addition. 3 points.

I like that it looks like the actual minifigures. Was that intentional? The whole helmet deal.

The feet design is pretty and the hand variations too, but the body is too blocky (Atlantis sets are all about curves, baby) and something really went wrong with the arms. Get started on that mark II!

Excellent design Luke! I see Keith's point about the overall box look, but I still think it's pretty awesome. Love the dual hook launching hand! Those hooks rock! You're in the Devil's Triangle right? Would love to see this in there.

Nice Mech. I think the fact that this is (at least) the 3rd Atlantis mech posted on MOCpages in a week, and the second in this very contest, is hurting your case a bit. Still, it's a nice hardsuit/mech. Probably with some more optionals/playable features it would have gotten more than a 2 and change from me. Better luck next time.
