I wanted to make an Amtrak engine but I didn't want to make it after a real one so I made this. It's a basic desail design with Amtrak style. It took me about a total of four hours to build in real life & then about three hours to make in Ldraw but I did make it in real life first so that made it easer in LDraw.
i dunno if its accurate... but it looks really great and really heavy! i built a gp38 in microscale check it out sometimes...i m no specialist in trains nor have i ever seen a real american train so id like to hear what you think ;)
Very good representation of a Geep (doesn't have to be 8 wide either IMHO) The only criticism I have is that there is no provision for a minifig engineer in the cab.
