Lego CalMac Ferry Hebrides
About this creation
Lego rendition of the Caledonian MacBrayne Ferry "Hebrides" that operates on the West Coast of Scotland. For more info see my website Ships of CalMac

Built using original ships plans she is fully accessible by mini-fig on all decks.

Although not yet quite complete its almost done.

If anyone can suggest on how to complete the bridge windows (see MV HEBRIDES for layout) please let me know.

Id also be interested if anyone had ideas on how to create the hull lettering...?

Thanks for looking about, any comments, questions welcome.

I like VERY, VERY much! Amazing rendition of the flagship. Superbly accurate with the passenger areas and just as fantastic on the outside of the boat. The best LEGO model of a Calmac boat I've probably ever seen!

Fantastic ship. The scale is beyond what is normal for mere mortal lego builders. For the bridge, I would recommend using an inverted windscreen like a 4284 or 4872 for the exterior windows. I don't know what kind of equipment would be on the interior of this type of ship :(. There are other inverted windscreens out there, but these are some of the more common examples: or
