Personel transport shuttle used aboard SSV Normandy SR2, featuring in Mass effect 2 and 3
About this creation
A funky little shuttle craft, the Kodiak was used to ferry players to and from locations the Normandy was unable to dock or land. I felt that my SR2 would not be complete without one.
My model is a compromise between cargo capacity and size consraints imposed by the SR2's hangar bay. As such, the one in the photographs (V1 prototype) can only hold 2 minifigures (or 1 geth), or a few small cargo crates.
As demonstrated, doors open, engines pivot independently and the antena folds down to allow for storage.
Above: the V1.1 model based on the prototype purpose built for my big SR2 back in February 2010.
Below: left to right, V1.2, V2 (with interior and figures), V3, V3A and V2A

The V2 model is an upgrade of my existing design, one stud wider, allowing more interior room, bringing the capacity up to 3 seated minifigures with room for weapons.
With another modification to the forward wing-frame on the SR2, this should fit happily.
The V3-mini version is a new compact design for the 'Mini SR2' (70cm model submitted to CUUSOO in the hopes of becoming an official set). This model is intended to be as small as possible, yet still hold a minifigure. It features a hinged roof to allow access to the small interior. Even at this scale, I was still able to make movable engines, but opening doors had to be sacrificed.

Very nice looks! And its actually the most accurate one i've seen. No offence, but it is a little small, and yes, I read that part about this being as big as the cargo bay can hold. |
