Joe lives, and the greatest gift to him after that is hope. He returns from "buying" things (He still says buying even if it isn't that way, this keeps a bit normality). Look what he has today...
About this creation

He has a new music player!

Joe climbs up his outpost, here he lives since the nuclear apocalypse,he lost his wife then, so he always has a photo of his Maria with him, he is missing her really:

Good old technology with batteries, Joe thoughts, because there's of course no electricity, that's why he can't use cars too, someone thought cars with electric motor would be great. He turns it on.

Sit down and relax:

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high,

There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue,

And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true.

Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me.

Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly.
Birds fly over the rainbow.
Why then, oh why can't I?

If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can't I?
.....

He turned the music player off, there was someone outside!

He couldn't see it clearly, so Joe went up the roof to get a better view
Guy:"Come down, I come with peaceful intentions!

Strange Guy:"The war is over, the government opens refugee camps. And I have a letter for you. From a certain... Maria.
Joe:"That can't be true! Maria is alive!
Guy:"But it is!"

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high,
There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby.

Did Steven Spielberg write this ending, sap-city. Come on, this is the apocalypse, I want to see the guy coming up the ladder be a zombie! 3 points.

Yay, the postman brought some hope. I'm happy if he brings me LEGO instead of bills. Nice work. I like the minimal sets. They really sell the scene. GL in the contest! see ya. garth

Another cross-breed. This could have been either a song/story or post-apoc. I like how you created the background for your song, and a quite touching story, with different sets. 4 points.

Awwwww - a happy ending; how Disney. A nice little moc, but a better story. It does show effort though, so I will give it three (3) points. Lee.

The build isn't the greatest, but the use of the song/short story is great! I really like it.
