Piers Anthony has a series of books about a magic land where puns come to life in magical ways. One such incarnation were the Night Mares, black horses that brought bad dreams at night; multi-colored Day Mares brought daydreams. One of the Night Mares left the ranks, becoming the Black Day Mare. This is an absolutely beautiful creation that instantly made me think of that particular book, one of my childhood favorites. Great usage of parts to capture the smooth lines of a horse.~H
