Team Terrorificante Triangulo Diabolico's MOC Athalon entry in the category of Landscape
About this creation

The sound of water gurgling out of the cave and down the small hillside filled the otherwise silent patch of forest.

The cool air whispered through the small pine trees, and bees buzzed around the flowers near the stream bank.

No birds sang, however, and no animals drank from the cool waters of the stream.

The reason was abundantly clear.

Man had come upon this pastoral scene and now peace and tranquility met death and destruction.

Dem Notes: I wanted to take the juxtaposition element of this in a different, albeit darker, direction. I was also interested in trying a different design for the waterfall than those I have used in the past.

Nicely done! I see you used the George Bush face for your dead guy. The MOC is great, but the pictures seem to be faded.

Good point on the pics. I took them outdoors and forgot to change the camera settings....sigh

How was the guy killed? This is nice! I will make a horror series. It's called Project-X. And it will be scary and bloody. Just how you like it!

An interesting design, but I have to admit it seems a bit 'messy' with respect to the interaction between the plants and the 'rock'. I really like the blood effect though, and it does make for a dramatic juxtaposition. Three (3) points for your efforts. Lee.

really creepy bones, anyway, i like the lighting effect.

I applaud you for trying a new waterfall technique and you have an interesting juxtaposition, but this seems a little too simplistic for me. The plant elements just seem thrown around. I would have given more points if the minifig was built in miniland scale and posed dramatically (plus then the blood could be bigger). 2 points.

I figured as much, for some reason I just found myself trying to be nice. LOL Love the color shades; I have a tie-dye, wide brimmed fishing hat in those same colors...I know, BIG surprise!~H

Quoting Hans Dendauw Creepy is as creepy does, my momma used to say...Nice waterfall technique and blood flow. Have you taken to making your own backdrops or is it an existing piece of art?~H
My own art? HAHAHA, no...this is a little something my girlfriend painted that I stole and use as a backdrop when I am too lazy to photoshop.

Makes you wonder just how safe the water you drink is (shivers). Anyway, I love the use of a painting as the backdrop and the waterfall is nicely done!

Very interesting... And if there had not been conflict and murder, but rather peace between people, the scene would remain beautiful. This brings to mind how different the world would be if man had not disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden...

Such a beautiful waterfall and tranquil scene, then your eyes notice the man and that intense blood effect... ug, makes me a little queasy. Perfectly designed and executed moc, you've really visualised the catagory description exactly and infused it with your own macarbre style. Wonderful.

Is that water infected with the Blue Shadow Virus, a deadly plague cultivated by Dr. Nuvo Vindi? (Apologies... I've been watching Clone Wars where a Naboo river was contaminated with a virus and killed unsuspecting shaaks drinking from it ...)
