Terrorificante Triangulo Diabolico: Love You To Death
Team Terrorificante Triangulo Diabolico's MOC Athalon entry in the category of Short Story/Song/Poem **I wish to warn viewers that the subject matter of this MOC is very dark and some may find it disturbing or offensive. There is no foul language or sex, but some images portray a very serious situation.** This is a song from Kamelot’s “Ghost Opera” CD. Link to the You Tube video is below since I am sure many of you have never heard the song.
About this creation

When they met she was fifteen
Like a black rose blooming wild
And she already knew she was gonna die

"What's tomorrow without you?
Is this our last goodbye"

She got weaker every day
As the autumn leaves flew by
Until one day, she told him,
"This is when I die"

"What was summer like for you?"
She asked him with a smile
"What's tomorrow without you?"
He silently replied

She said,

"I will always be with you
I'm the anchor of your sorrow
There's no end to what I'll do
'Cause I love you, I love you to death"

But the sorrow went too deep
The mountain fell too steep
And the wounds would never heal
'Cause the pain of the loss
was more than he could feel

He said,

"I will always be with you
By the anchor of my sorrow
All I know, or ever knew,
Is I love you, I love you to death"

"What's tomorrow without you?
Is this our last goodbye?"

"I will always be with you
I'm the anchor of your sorrow
There's no end to what I'll do
'Cause I love you"

Dem Notes: I took a risk not only portraying a subject that most find very disturbing, but also using a song the judges were not familiar with. I like the song, however, and the dark message contained therein demonstrates how Progressive and Gothic metal actually put thought into their lyrics instead of the Top 40 drivel we get in the US. My apologies to anyone who has had to deal with a suicide of family member or friend, I have, and it is not pleasant.

Quoting durruti_cnt libertad A truly controversial subject you portrayed there, and a nice interpretation to the end of this incredible song by one of my favourite bands. I am sorry to hear that you had to cope with the suicide of someone close to you (I had to deal with a schoolmate's premature death at 16-17 years of age, and even if we weren't exactly close friends -not that we were hostile to each other, it's just that I did not know him that much-, it came as a rather crude blow), my most heartfelt condolences. BTW, thanks for your comments on my LEGOBRAWL, I appreciate the feedback and advice on image size(especially now that I've gone into a low MOC-productivity period to build up a decent, up-to-date LEGO collection -AND study some better photography techniques). Keep up the good build!
Thanks! Always good to hear from another Kamelot fan!

Congrats on the dark subject, very well illustrated by the nice pics. It's something you don't see everyday in the Lego community. Sad, but excellent !

Thanks judges. As you all noticed, I focused on presenting the song in the proper fashion and did not do the greatest builds to go along with it. I had another song in mind that required 7 sets, some pretty elaborate, but time prevented me from doing that one.

Gosh, thats intense. Great build too. The graveyard scene is very very good, especially love the rain effect. Its a deep thinking moc, I really feel for that poor man...

Certainly thinking outside of the box - always appreciated. Love the story and the idea - and to quote mainstream media: "We all owe God a death." The build is ok, nothing really wow about it though. Some nice little sets. Combined, and for having the stones to post something so dark - four (4) points. Lee.

Oh very gutsy move there Bones! I dig it! While we do not like to face it, death really is a natural part of life. We're all going to end up being Mr and Mrs. Bones in the future. And yeah the link works, will have to listen to it at home though. :P
