Bah, I say to all these steampunk creations made outa wood. If you take a look back at threshing machines and such they have very few wooden parts. And that is what I have done here.
About this creation
Team “Legion Of Virile Energetic Moccers Unified For Frivolous Ingenious Naughtiness” entry for the “Steampunk” category.
Allot of this build was taken from the movie " Steam Boy ",infact much of the wagons' general layout is based on the british one.

I would have liked to have seen a Lego built environment (that's what I mean by background). That would have pushed it towards more points. |

So cool, and a good point on the wood, I suppose there should be both a steam-punk era, and a 'mill-punk' era for those who like the idea of lots of wood doing mechanicy things...
Sweet build mate!
and I would give the wood addicts some encouragement in suggesting any steam punk flyers would certainly use wood, and early steam ships did employ wooden hulls. But anything on wheels, would look much more like this build right here.
Cheers...

Nice job, I feel bad for you that Dave didn't feel the same way about this as the other ones... great build though! =D |

I totally agree that too many people go brown for steampunk. Not that that's a bad thing, but stepping outside the box really turned out nicely here! Great job Ian! ~ Chris. |

The build is very nice. When a MOC is smaller, like this one, I want to see effort put into story, background or presentation. 3 points.
Why, Is'nt this competition an attempt to make the best MOC, not the best story or the best photoshopped background. Im fine with your score, it's that I thought I was entering my creation for judging. So I didnt prepare a lengthy backstory or bother to make any scenery. |

Awesome SP, with every element in his right place. I LOVE the locomotive-like engine, and the color choice is perfect. 5 well deserved points for this one. |

Another fine build, and even better than you first. Love the level of detail in this as it certainly gives it a mechanical feel to it. Five (5) points. Lee. |
