IZ Emporium
With all these Emporiums showing up, I can't stay behind.
About this creation

This is the IZ Emporium.
Why IZ? Because I happened to have a clothing tag lying around that said IZ and figured I could use that as a banner of sorts.

It's not entirely 64 studs wide, there's 4 studs of sidewalk left on the right side on this photo. But hey I wanted a corner building.

The back is pretty boring as usual, that's why it's the back.

If you couple on another modular building on this side, a little alley is created between the buildings.

Dogs, rats, bamboo and bums. We can start a real life soap back there.

A closer look at the little alley around the corner.

And here's that alley with a random other building coupled on.

The tip of the tower in the corner, as well as a better look at the IZ banner.
Don't ever throw out your clothing tags again! See I'm also helping the environment :)

The usual rooftop drama between Aliencat and Aliencop, it's an eternal extra terrestrial cat and mouse game.

This is the main entrance into the department store.

What's Robosmurf up to?

Mannequins and streetkids, another catchy title for a real life soap.

This is the first floor opened up. There's some people shopping and some stuff being shopped. Basically.

This looks to be the clothing department. The mannequins are just there to scare off pedestrians.

And the stairs up to the second floor. There's a little hallway under the stairs leading to one of the backdoors.

Here's the second floor, where more people are shopping and more stuff is being shopped.

There's a big window over the stairs that leads up to this floor, you don't want people falling off the stairs because there's not enough naturel daylight.

All leather stuff I think.

And of course there's a hat department, we can't have minifigs walking around showing their studs.

The top floor has a catwalk and a café. They both start with ca so I grouped them together.

These minifigs are digging the latest fashion yo.

Shopping sure works up your appetite. Good thing café starts with ca, or it wouldn't even be there.

Quoting Family Vuurzoon Hi Sebastiaan, Fantastische MOC!!
Groeten, Sebastiaan

awesome build and cool interior now a short dialog from two guys at the cat walk Guy1:hey Joe, do you see that guy with the harpoon over there. Joe: yeah, and i see racer x now watch the hot chicks. guy1:we're all plastic, if any of us get hot, we melt. Joe: more of that science stuff eh bob? Now we paid good gold coins to be here, now let me enjoy the show. I was thinking that when i saw racer X and that guy with the harpoon.

You are a great builder and this is a great project. I like the way you made the floors without fixing them on each other, to take a look inside. Good job!

I've never really looked at the buildings people produce before now, but this has opened my eyes to a highly imaginative and detailed mini(fig) world. Love it.

I'm like so jealous! I could come to your house and steal it. But I can't and theres a few reasons why. 1] Mostly likely chances I have no Idea where you live. 2]I'd probally not fit it in my car 3]I'd trip over your doormat and drop the model.

Looking at your MOC's has become a family affair in our household. It even gets my wife involved! Your use of space on such a shallow base is amazing. Everyone can learn how to build a detail packed MOC by studying your photos. Thank you for being such an inspiration. Regards, Eric.

Wow, what a great store. Looks too trendy for me but I can admire the old building. Lots of great stuff going on, though doubt there's any soap going on in the alley. I think I can smell those bums from here. Sure is a nice bit of work. see ya. garth

Excellent stuff! You have quite a distinctive style and talent for mixing different colours that goes well together, creating a very natural and realistic look. The same goes for different pieces which adds a strong textured "feeling" to the building. Fantastic job!

The best part about this entire moc is that not only is it amazing, but you built a whole other elaborate building to show off the little alleyway of the emporium, then proclaimed it "some random building" and only used it in one pic. Haha, fantastic build.
