This build was a real pain as not only did I have to make it look good, I had to make it float... just to let you know, the first couple pictures were taken before I found if it could float or not, the ones in the sink that show it with a flotation device attached were taken after... as it is thoroughly wet, I couldn't take anymore pictures... hope that doesn't get me DQ'd... though if the judges would like it, I'll post more pictures with it attached after it dries out...

I decided to build my own hull, instead of using one-piece parts to make it... I think it looks rather nice... also, note the antenna with an uhh... rotary phone.... yeah right...

Machine gun, it took me awhile to get a tripod that worked but I did it...

The motor...

Note the add-on, essentially two ballast tanks on either side... think of them as... something a crazy scientist would put on to make it go faster... or in my case, make it float...

For one of the requirements, note the yellow in the boat; one of the soldiers in there had to go and there wasn't a bathroom...

Anyway, this concludes about a day or two worth of stress over design etc... hope you liked it...

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it, though as much as I'd like to provide instructions for the boat, I'm afraid that the boat has already been disassembled approx. a year ago. Really good! I just wish it floated better, which you could've done byadding hollow pieces to the bottom, and adding two "sand bags", little thick round pieces with triangular tops, to the side, it worked when I made a small pirate rowboat.

"Abandon ship! Abandon ship!" Nice, but it has some serious problems staying above the water level... 2 points. They may have been more without the "different versions" issue...
