The Me-163 was the first and only rocket powered airplane. It was designed by Germany in 1941, that's when the first prototype flew. It reached service in 1944 with one opjective, destroy the bombers that are bombing germany. The airplane could fly 1,123 km/h (698 mph) faster then any other WW2 airplane, but it only fly for not even 10 minutes! Overall the airplane only shot down a handfull of bombers and were more harmfull the their pilots then the american bomber crews. Even after this "failer" this airplane won it self it's own place in history. Enjoy!

About this creation

heres how the airplane looks like without the wheels, wich detach in the fisrt seconds of flight.

The cockpit doesn't open by itself, but it still looks good!
