This is my entry for the "Just A Game" category into the MOCathalon for the Team Triangulate This!
About this creation
One of my favorite games is Cribbage. I've always wanted a very cool board with ivory inlays and such. So I thought I would make one for this competition. Please note that while elephant ivory is illegal, Mammoth ivory isn't. :P
To be honest I actually made this 20 pegs too short originally and had to scramble to find more of the pieces necessary. I had to tear apart my raft that I intended to use for the Devil's Triangle story line. I should be able to salvage it after the game.
I wasn't familiar with this game, and I was surprised to see it's a card game... while the score board id accurate and well made, it's only a part of the thing. 3 points. I would have very much liked to give it more, with at least an attempt at a card deck to complete it.
Very cool - even thought to myself: "looks like a crib board". Four (4) points. Would have needed to step it up a notch in detailing to earn that last point. Lee.
A friend of mine tried to teach me this game when I was about 16... Needless to say I never learned it. But I know what it is and you pulled the board off nicely! ~ Chris.
What this would have needed to get the last point: an attempt at a curved section, a place to store the pegs, the scoring area. But it's still very nice. 4 points.
Sweet! I wasn't sure how you were going to play this one (bah-dump-psht), but you did great. I love the horns for pegs and the SNOT approach to the board itself.~H
