VDS Advanced Infantry Fighting Vehicle
One more step in the armour evolution has been added: the AIFV. Greatly similar to most contemporary IFVs, specifically the US "Bradley" combat vehicle, the AIFV is aimed to be hard-hitting and transport/support a small group of infantry. The latter role is accomplished via the opened rear compartment which can hold 4-5 troops depending on their load-out. The hard-hitting portion is boasted through the 40mm main cannon and the secondary 15mm cannon. Most AIFVs are up-armored in the field with the additional "Bird Cage" slatted armor around the infantry compartment and adding extra plates on the rear hatches. When traveling in columns, at least one of these vehicles opts for a plow.
About this creation

Front hatches open with crew. One driver and one commander/gunner.

Rear hatches open with three dismounts.

Size comparison with field technician.

Note: I really detest how these photos came out. I assure you they are not this blurry on programs elsewhere. My apologies.

Nice tight feel. I like the non-uniform spacing of the road wheels.

A light tank! Amazing! Excellent job getting figs to fit in a tank that doesn't weigh in at 200 tons like the rest of ours. I likes.

A very good piece of work. It reminds me of the Russian BMP-3.

Quoting Shk Ad Aw As I said on Flickr, very nice job on this. I'm glad you've taken a more conventional design path with your recent armor.
Haha. Are you saying I was too radical?

I really like the size and shape of this vehicle. The tread color is the only thing that bothers me though, but that's only minor. Anyway, nice work!

Quoting Areetsa C Pics or it never happened. Also, I've noticed you haven't shown any pics of the top. Any reason for that?
Laziness. But, I can take pictures of both the turret and the top . . . Eventually.

Quoting Areetsa C So, does the turret have room for a crewmember, preferably with access through the turret ring? Because that's always worth extra points.
Yep. If a crew member is meant to be there, he shall have room to sit and stand within his own seat.
