(He's just a poor mercenary trying to get through life...)
(... and over there on that "shelf" ahem... building... is his target...)
"... it's agonizing waiting here waiting for the right moment to strike, but timing is everything... especially when you're dealing with someone who has eyes literally on the back of her head..."
"Yes! I've got a clear shot!"
(Or does he?)
(Our hero, with his excellent senses and fast reflexes (it helps to have a bit to much caffeine... or sweets) quickly drops his rifle and whips out his sidearm...
(But unfortunately, his adversary shoots him first...) (Ouch...)
(Unable to run, and caught red-handed... his nameless foe dives in for the kill...)
(But wait! Our hero has a Plan-B... (Tip #456: ALWAYS HAVE PLAN-B. If something's going to go wrong, it WILL go wrong...) He pulled out of his magic belt a...uhh...)
Don't get any closer mom, or I'll drop the cookie jar!! (How's the Coffee-Maker?)
Fourth-Wall-Commentary: Well this is my (rather pitiful) attempt at a short-story... I originally had an idea at a bunch of scenes with showing him killing people, but I figured senseless killing was probably getting old.. so I came up with that... just as a note, this is my first attempt at forced perspective, so let me know what you think about it... and yes, for those of you wondering, this was slightly inspired by "Calvin and Hobbes"
