Entry from Praeclari Miles for category "Atlantis" in the 2010 MOC Athalon.
About this creation
Well, Praeclari Miles winning this competition is about as likely as me running out of technic pins, but hey, I'm having fun. One more time. I built you guys a submarine.

Anyone can see Atlantis...if you can pay. Atlantis Tours No. 2 or "The Ivory Ray" has bi-monthly excursions for those with fat wallets.

Please remember: no flash photography.

I'd also like to add that this will be my last MOC for the contest. Thanks Phazezorz and my teammates for picking me up late in the game. Thanks to all the organizers and especially judges for looking thoughtfully at 300+ MOCs. But most of all, thanks to all the competitors. I knew guys like Sven and 2x4 were going to bring it to the table, but so many of you churned out just amazing work; from a full size skateboard, to a roller rink, to "I Think I'm a Clone Now." There are too many to name, really. Well everyone, I had a blast in this contest and good luck to all of you in the final days here. I think I'll still build my idea for the CCC building, but I think its too good to rush ;).

Cheers,
Alex

An excellent sub, a great build, love the *column* thing in the background, the one that sea-weed and underwater plant life have taken over. Keep it up! Freedom!

I was thinking from the thumbnail that it looked like a tour vessel with it's panoramic windows. Great job, looks just the part.

Great build, Alex, I love the 'fish-like' look of it and the color scheme just shouts 'Tours'. Thanks for the mention and I couldn't agree more; this contest has brought out some people's finest work, you included.~H

Nicely done - and good for you for not throwing in the towel. Four (4) points. Lee.

A good deal of thought went into what an underwater tourist vessel would look like. Very nice work. 4 points.

4 points. Nice take on the theme. They could have been more with more land(sea)scaping.
