A Steampunk robot dog built for the 2010 MOCAthalon. Built for The Enterprisers team for the Steampunk category.
About this creation

So, this is a Steampunk robot dog thing. It's got two legs because the look and work better than four legs.

I had to fix how the legs attached to the torso about halfway through my photo-shoot for this. The entire torso's built around a bracket and a Travis brick, which is not a sturdy as I was expecting it to be. It's all good now, but it was a pain until I realized there wasn't enough friction where I needed it.

Built for the 2010 MOCAthalon for The Enterprisers Team for the Steampunk category.

GRRRRR!! - Awesome mech-dog build, dude. I hope you have "Beware of Dog" signs posted around your project area. How many wayward mini-figs have gone missing since you built this? - Huss Q.

Quoting Dan Church Lovin' it! What is the piece used as what looks like a toe? I'm not sure i've ever seen that before. Anyway, great MOC!
The toe pieces are actually the arms of old Technic figs.

No doubt about it, this thing is pretty sweet. I really want to see it do battle with Jason Corlett's Steam Strider. What pieces are the toes? I can't figure out for the life of me.

This is, bottom to top, gold. I feared you forgot the boilers, but then I saw them near the neck area :) 5 points, even without steam puffs (nice placing of the exhausts).

Last I checked dogs have 4 legs, but that's not important.
